Who's new
New National Weather Service forecast calls for worse storm
I am not a meteorologist, nor do I play one on TV.
However, the National Weather Service has increased its predicted snow total for Wyandotte County.
It's possible that Wyandotte County gets between 3-7 inches of snow tomorrow, beginning sometime before noon. Temperatures will also take a hit.
Tonight: Snow likely, mainly after midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 24. North wind 7 to 11 mph becoming east. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Tuesday: Snow before noon, then periods of rain, snow, and sleet. High near 36. East southeast wind between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Tuesday Night: Snow and areas of blowing snow. Low around 15. Wind chill values between -1 and 9. Blustery, with a north northwest wind 9 to 12 mph increasing to between 22 and 25 mph. Winds could gust as high as 33 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
Wednesday: Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 18. Wind chill values between -3 and 2. Blustery, with a northwest wind between 15 and 24 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph.
