POLICE BEAT: Cash register more valuable than contents inside

A Stop-N-Go at 954 State Avenue in Kansas City, Kan., was robbed Monday morning just shortly after midnight.

However, the crook didn't make away with too much cash – just $30.

The thief entered the shop by shattering the front door of the store, which was made of class. After entering, the person in question made away with a cash register, which is valued at $1,000.

Police, arriving on scene just after 3 a.m. when it was reported, filed a police report for both criminal damage or burglary.

Other than the robber's dreams of a nice cash grab, no one was hurt.
