Well I was going to put my only superstition up and that is.. "When a liberal crosses my path I pick them up and throw them over my right shoulder" but I did not want to start a new argument.

I have two black cats! I do have a funny story to lighten up our always heated discussions. When our ice cream man comes down our street, and one of my black cats crosses his path... he will actually put his truck in reverse and back his way out from our street. He has done this about 3 times, and all the kids on the block get a kick out of it.
