Washington takes road victory at Atchison

Washington-logo.gifThe Washington Wildcats are off to a 1-0 start following an 18-point road victory over the Atchison Redmen Friday night.

The Wildcats were led by the school's talented junior class  in victory. Trevaughn White scored a game-high of 17 points, while Kalen Allen added 10 point.

Washington led narrowly in the first half, leading 13-10 after one and 30-25 at the end of the first half.

A strong third quarter propelled the Wildcats to victory.

Washington outscored Atchison 17-7 in the third quarter, expanding the lead into double figures. The Wildcats duplicate last year's start when they prevailed easily over Atchison.
