Westheight homes tour this Sunday
Step back in time and celebrate the holidays with a tour of homes in historic Westheight Manor on Sunday, December 13.
The Historic Westheight Neighborhood Association will again welcome visitors to their Kansas City, Kan., neighborhood from 1 – 5:30 p.m. on that day.
Tickets for the tour are $10, and may be purchased at www.westheighthomestour.net, or on the day of the tour at 2001 Washington Blvd. For more information, please check the Web site or call (913) 371-3495.
Westheight is located north of State Ave. in KCK. The entrance to the neighborhood is west of N. 18th St. at Washington Blvd. Yard signs will indicate the seven tour homes; maps and programs will be available.
Visit the oldest home in Westheight—a Victorian home built in 1886; an English Tudor home; the Colonial Revival home of former Senator Harry Darby; Prairie style and traditional homes. Other styles in the area include Arts & Crafts, Italian Renaissance and Spanish Eclectic.
In addition, the 150-year-old St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, at 1300 N. 18th St., will be open for viewing. Visitors will also see a demonstration of ice carving by a professional ice sculptor.
Homes in the tour are located at:
2001 Washington Blvd.

2208 Washington Blvd.
1322 N. 20th St.
