Car vandalized by apparent gang language
A car was vandalized last week in what looks to be a gang-related crime, or at least one that attempts to look like a gang-related crime.
The vehicle's driver side door was tagged with "BLOODS" in black marker. The damage to the vehicle was totaled at $500.
The vehicle was located on the 2500 Block of N. 12th Street. The crime occurred sometime from 9 p.m. on Feb. 2 to 9 a.m. on Feb. 3. It was reported to police on Feb. 9.

Businesses tagged with graffiti near Park Drive, 18th Street
In recent days graffiti incidents have certainly picked up.
Most notably Wyandotte High School was hit with about $1,000 in damage, while a few other businesses around the area were hit. Also, police reports detailing graffiti incidents have picked up as well.
Now, today comes word of another "graffiti attack" of sorts.
I received a tip this morning that "several" businesses on Park Drive were hit in related graffiti incidents. Listening to the police scanner, an officer reporting near the area said businesses were hit on 18th Street.
No word yet on which businesses were targeted, but the activity is suspected to be gang-related early on.
Wyandotte High School vandalized with graffiti
Wyandotte High School was the target of an apparent gang-related graffiti incident early Tuesday morning.
The graffiti was located on the exterior of the school and evidence suggested that it was placed by an area gang.
David A. Smith, assistant to the superintendent for communications, said staff at the school were dispatched to the area almost immediately after it was reported.
